AMEND by inserting after lines 393 the following paragraph and renumbering accordingly:
( ) In any county having a population greater than eighteen thousand four hundred (18,400) and less than eighteen thousand six hundred (18,600) according to the 1990 federal census, wherein Mississippi Highways 43 and 35 intersect, the annual salary of the county prosecuting attorney shall be a salary equal to the annual salary of justice court judges in the county or the maximum allowable salary for that attorney under subsection (1), whichever is the greater salary.
